Legoland

My parents and niece came to visit in April, we went to Legoland. First time since we have been here. It was really fun and they gave us bounce back passes so we could visit again (nice Legoland.)

There are a ton of cities made of Legos. Zach liked to run through them. I kept imagining tiny people running in terror, "Godzilla!"

Since my parents are back in Utah, Shaun got to bounce back with us. So we went to Legoland on June 6th. It was really fun and we found a whole new area that we didn't even get to with my parents on the first visit! It was a dinosaur/zoo area with a great "dinocoaster" that the kids loved so much they rode twice & a safari.

Zach was too short for both of those but there was a cool playground for him so he didn't notice. No pics of the playground though since we lost Sydney in it (for those keeping score, she has now been rescued by park attendants twice. I have had to try not to scream hysterically while I report my child missing twice! Come on Sydney! (she walks away and then the nice park people give her a toy or sticker while she waits to be found so she isn't afraid. Not exactly helping us teach her!)

My kids still really loved the water area, even it wasn't a hot day. They played in here in the morning before the crowd got too big.

She actually thinks this is fun. They were sitting on the little fountains and delighted when the fountain came one & blasted them!

They don't understand that they are captured, just think they are growling like usual.

This is one of those crazy ball pits with shooters that make me feel claustrophobic & germ-o-phobic! Zach, of course, loved it and would stay in there all day if we let him! Hibeegebies!

We had a great day. Legoland is really fun for smallish kids and since we are often obsessed with legos (Sydney anyway) it was perfect timing. Thanks Grandpa & Grandma!

Moab--for you Meg

Over the Easter holiday, almost all of Shaun's family went to Moab for a couple of days. We had a really good time & it was great to see all the cousins (except Kelsey and Garrick.) The kids love the four-wheelers. Sitting on them alone was really exciting too. Doesn't take much to please them.  Zach liked to "frow rocks" all the time. So he was most content near the river, throwing rocks in & trying to fall in himself. Fortunately Zach has a kind dad who will take him to do stuff like "frow rocks."

Eventually we got Zach a bucket & some rocks so we didn't always have to be at the river throwing rocks. Sydney liked to dig in the dirt but she couldn't make much progress. The kids all had a really good time.
